Topcoats for Ink Adhesion
DUNMORE proprietary adhesion-promoting primer is designed to meet the special needs of the graphic arts industry. This versatile primer is compatible with solvent- and water-base inks as well as UV-curable silkscreen, flexographic, and offset/letterpress inks. The primer is also thermal transfer printable with a wide variety of ribbons, and ideal for pressure sensitive labels, tags, packaging laminations, point of purchase displays, and promotional items.

Chemical-resistant topcoats
In response to customer requirements, DUNMORE developed products with superior chemical resistance, starting with an existing computer-printable topcoat. DUNMORE facestock materials can be used in harsh environments where products are exposed to chemicals.

DUNMORE offers a wide variety of high-clarity, computer-printable topcoatings. Various coatings are engineered for excellent performance with dot matrix, laser, and thermal transfer printers, as well as with conventional silk screen, flexographic, and offset/letterpress ink systems. Individual ribbons and toners may vary in adhesion and must be tested for compatibility. DUNMORE computer-imprintable topcoats are highly transparent and may be used in overlay film applications. DUNMORE computer printing/imaging products are available in both metallized and non-metallized versions on a wide variety of substrates.
